Lakewood Health System (LHS) is an independent, rural healthcare system. Many of their patients reside in remote locations where communication and transportation is a challenge. Emergency care and hospitalizations increase when preventive care breaks down. LHS will discuss how they have learned to address the needs of their high-risk patients.
Brad Anderson is the Vice President Strategy and Development with the expertise in service line development, market share growth, and population health efforts focused on improving the overall health of patients while lowering the cost of care. Brad has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Gustavus Adolphus College.
Alicia Bauman is the Community Health Project Manager at Lakewood Health System. Alicia has experience in leading and managing community health initiatives that focus on improving the health of populations through community-based strategies. Alicia leads initiatives that focus on addressing complex factors that impact both health and equity. Alicia has experience leveraging clinical data for designing and implementing impactful systems and environmental strategies to improve health. Alicia has her Masters in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Rural Healthcare.
Bobbe Anderson graduated with a BA degree in Social Work from Concordia College, Moorhead. Bobbe's work history includes Wadena County Human Services for 21 years; Child Protection 15 years; Adult Mental Health Case Management 4 years; Care Coordination for Health Plans 2 years. Bobbe has been at Lakewood Health System since 2015. Bobbe's role includes case management and working with the Medical Home Program. Bobbe work with our pediatric medical home patients, adult patients with social needs, Lakewood’s Food Pharmacy program and discharge planning for hospital patients.
