The goal of the Northwest Time Critical Care Collaborative is to support the performance improvement of emergency medical services (EMS) in rural areas and to reduce the time to definitive care. The four focus areas for EMS feedback and improvements are STEMI, Stroke, Trauma, and Sepsis. Collaborative members include rural EMS groups, Critical Access Hospitals, and tertiary care hospitals. This session will highlight progress and results to-date, challenges encountered, EMS improvements and lessons learned.

Regional Coordinator/Senior HIT Consultant for REACH Regional Extension Center engaging healthcare providers and providing field staff direction across Minnesota and North Dakota; REACH supported 6000 providers/125 hospitals with EHR implementations/achievement of meaningful use.
